Caretower looks to secure future by embracing the Cloud - Rise chosen to support hosted services platform

Rise, the award winning provider of cloud based infrastructure services, has today announced that it will supply a hosted services platform to IT Security firm Caretower as part of the firm's expansion into managed services. The news reaffirms Rise's continual commitment to partner recruitment, which has seen it recruit over 140 partners in just over two years.

Caretower has established longstanding relationships with the security vendor community growing to become one of Europe's leading value added resellers. For over 12 years it has specialized in offering its customers tailor-made IT security solutions, in order to handle customer's diverse security challenges.

In recent years the firm has expanded its portfolio to include managed services. As cloud adoption increases, a cloud based managed service portfolio was essential. Caretower was looking for a dedicated channel provider who shared its same ethos of providing customers with cost effective, agile and flexible solutions.

Phydos Neophytou managing director of Caretower commented: "Our partnership with Rise will allow us to deliver upon the growing demand for Cloud services within the Small and Medium Business (SMB) market.

"In the past few years, the level of interest surrounding Cloud computing amongst our customers and potential customers has swelled sharply. Rise enables us to address this growing interest by offering our customer flexible, scalable and secure solutions which allow them to reap the benefits of Cloud computing

"We believe a lot of our customers, especially in the (SMB) space, are looking at innovated ways of designing and purchasing their IT infrastructure, and by leveraging Rise's Datacenter on Demand™ (DCoD) we will be able to expand on our managed IT solution offerings and enter the Cloud computing market with confidence."

According to Steve Holford, director at Rise, the flexibility of Rise's DCoD makes it an appealing option for firms looking to expand their portfolio into cloud services: "The challenge for the channel, which Rise has addressed, is to secure a partnership that allows them to remain in control of their customer relationship and billing, whilst offering secure, reliable infrastructure and managed services to their clients."
